Healthy Fecal Test
A fecal test negative for ova, parasites, & Giardia must be completed 6 months or less before the start of any boarding or daycare reservation.
Current Dog License
Dog owners in the state of Connecticut are required to register any dog 6 months or older by July 30th each year. To learn how to license your dog or get a copy of their license, please contact your local Town Hall!

An Evaluation Day is required for all dogs prior to their first boarding or daycare reservation.
This full-day assessment ($25 per dog) is designed to help our team get to know your dog's personality & play style so we can create the best experience for them at Passage East :)
We schedule a limited number of evaluations per day - as excited as we are to meet new friends, we want to make sure we have the staff & time to dedicate to learning about each one!

Deposit & Cancellation Policies
A 20% deposit is due at time of booking in order to confirm your pet's boarding reservation.
We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel a reservation, please give notice at least 4 days before your pet's scheduled start date so we can accommodate one of your dog's buddies :) Your deposit will be then be refunded in full to the payment method used.
Your deposit will be forfeited if notice of cancellation is given less than 4 days before the reservation's start date. We appreciate your help & understanding keeping Passage East available to as many pet friends as possible!
Intact Dogs Over 6 Months: Policies & Fees
$10 / Night (Boarding) or $5 / Day (Daycare)
Our goal at Passage East is to give every dog the opportunity to socialize as long as interactions remain safe and appropriate.
However, the presence of intact dogs - even the friendliest ones! - can sometimes be disruptive in a group setting. Our team will update you if your dog begins to exhibit behaviors that put them or other friends in their playgroup at risk. We'll then transition your dog to individual playtime activities ($20 / session) or Premium Boarding to make sure they're still having plenty of fun while here.
Don't worry! This is NOT a "life sentence" :) While every dog is different, mounting & other common dominant behaviors often decrease significantly 2-3 months post-neuter.
We cannot accept female dogs who are actively in heat for boarding or daycare. If your dog starts her cycle while here, we'll ask that you arrange to have her picked up as soon as possible. If this is not an option, we'll move her to a separate boarding section for an additional nightly fee & add individual playtime ($20 / session) to each remaining day of her visit.

Peak Period Charge: +10% on all boarding/daycare services

Memorial Day Weekend: May 22 - May 26th
Summer: June 26th - August 30th
Labor Day Weekend: September 4th - September 7th
Thanksgiving Holiday: November 24th - November 29th
Holiday / End of Year Break: December 23rd - January 3, 2027
